Gates of Hell released

It’s been awhile since I’ve updated this, and I apologize. I had to get back in here, however, as May will be my biggest publishing month to date, in which I will more than double my published stories.

I’ve got a few things to catch up on in the next few days, but I’ll start with the announcement that the newest Four Horsemen Universe anthology has been released by Chris Kennedy and Mark Wandrey.
I just happen to be the first person to have not just one, but two stories in a 4HU anthology.

The first, “Freedom of Maneuver”, is a collaboration with Kevin Ikenberry, my writing mentor. He honored me by inviting me to help him write a prequel story to “Stand On it”. That story was his first in the 4HU, and in it he “accidentally” created Jessica Francis, Earth’s first Peacemaker. In so doing, he spawned the entire Peacemaker line of books in the 4HU.
Our story is set just before the events in “Stand On It”, in which Hex and Maya of Lemieux’s Marauders, reeling from Jessica’s departure, are forced to do what they can to survive their bosses questionable tactics, and at the same time resolve their burgeoning relationship.

My stand alone story is “The Mushroom Farm”. After a nearly two decade hiatus in writing, the 4HU re-ignited my passion for it, and this was the second thing I wrote. It’s a tribute and re-imagining of the Son Tay Raid, famous in US Spec Ops circles, and a mission that I have an actual operational connection to.
In it, I introduce the mysterious “Company”, retired spook Patches, and the enigmatic Bull, around whom I have now written a novel, which will hopefully be forthcoming in the next few months.
