In the aftermath of the destructive Omega Wars, an initiative is launched to rebuild the devastated Human mercenary forces as well as get the abundance of alien mercs off of Earth.
Among many other awesome stories is my own “Buff Orpington and the Sinister Scientist Bunnies”, wherein Alvin, Simon, and Theodore– the beloved Flatar trio from Unshackled– sneak into a Scientist Guild compound ahead of a major assault by the newly formed Badass Blades.
The story is twinned with Melissa Olthoff’s “Duck Me”, the prelude to her Depik companion novel, Companion in Chains.
